A wonderful doggie story

A lovely start to January as the team from Butternut Box staffed a pop-up stall at the shopping centre, sharing and promoting a new way to enjoy dog and cat food via subscription deliveries to your door. Knowing this stand would have treats, the Centre team reached out to Nicola, a friend of the Centre and to Sophie, and of course to their wonderful two greyhound rescues, Florrie and Hero! Nicola and her family adopted Florrie and Hero through ‘Bristol Dawg’, the Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue Charity who have made regular visits to Clifton Down since 2020.  Hero, who was keen to explore something behind the stand, was adopted in November last year and is loving life, a family who adore him, and a friend in Florrie who was adopted earlier! The Greyhound Rescue Charity visits are the favourite of so many Centre team members!
